Wooten Woods, owned by Victor Wooten, a 5-time Grammy award winning musician, and his wife Holly, was built by the hands, sweat, love, and contributions of friends and students from around the world. Wooten Woods is located in Only, Tennessee, just a short drive from Nashville. WWR is easily accessible via I-40 and is about an hour drive from Nashville International Airport and only about a two-hour drive from Memphis.
Wooten Woods Retreat, nearly 150 acres of beautiful woods and fields, sits in a secluded spot along the beautiful Duck River.
The Duck River, also used for bass (not the instrument) fishing, contains 50 different species of freshwater mussels and contains over 150 species of fish, making it one of North America's most biologically diverse rivers. It is also the longest river located completely within the state of Tennessee.
The site also boasts an array of wildlife, wildflowers, birds, fish, walking trails, gardens, ponds, and nearby lakes and waterfalls.
